Down the road from us, across the valley toward Wales, is an oil derrick. It's been there for around a month; I saw the trucks that brought the main tower down the highway.
This facility is self-contained. It has no power leading to it, yet it is punching a hole through the earth's crust in who the hell knows what direction besides down, searching for crude and finding, once again, who the hell knows what.
I'm fair sure someone in a glass building down in Texas knows what's going on.

Kia ora Adam,
Seems to be crying out for a visit by the MWG! We too here in Aotearoa are being besieged by encroachment and secret deals between the government and profit driven companies. At times I can only hang my head in shame at what we do to the Earth.

Rotten pukes!

May they (not necessarily the worker bees) be sucked into their hole.
