Snow Retreating

A quick run and back turned into a long turn amongst some places I haven't seen this winter.
The flowers and grass are returning; the long shadows have retreated again for the year here on the western edges of the range.

Kia ora Adam,
Interesting, our thoughts are most likely the same in these high wild having just returned from the now deep autumn Ruahine on this side of our world, I could sense the frosts and soon snow sneaking down to soon engulf the open tops and ridges. You can almost sense that snow retreating like an old wounded warrior of some type. Only to rest awhile and return to resume the battle. best to just enjoy the lull. Kia kaha e hoa!

Robb,
It seems that you understand the spirits that underpin the cycles we both describe and labor to thrive within. You see and describe them through actions and writing that are hard to read without pausing to breath and eat in order to recoup the energy spent through inevitable internalization.
Thanks for remaining, dear sir.
