A Drive

Drie and I went on a drive out west of Utah Lake on our way up to the monthly grocery shop. We spent some time talking about things we usually talk about while on long drives alone; it's a process of remembering and driving deep into ideals and dreams and trying to remember why we're here in spite of reality and fear of the unknown.

He's a funny little guy. Lots of personality.

No Snow Now

The snow's gone for now, and in its place a desire to try something that ought to be done more often. Long old axels, but they're good for cruising and downhill.

Haircuts

They needed to get haircuts, they got them. Glad to have the Sorensens around to help in that matter-lots better than do-it-myself...

Mustachioed Ianto

He's a funny little man.

Greenhouse!

Starts are started, and old plants haven't fared too badly. Not a bad winter overall, as far as cold temps are concerned- as usual, we'll see how the water lasts, though.

Not much to report but drives to work and walks with the Drie. Spring is a time to see the best that surrounds, so that's what I'm getting ready for.

Celts Day!

The boys played the part of proper Scots/Welshmen today.
Happy, happy Celts Day to you.

Spring and Getting Out There

Drie and I headed out a few times over the past couple of days. The change in temp and hopeful signs make it darn near irresistible. Good to be alive.

Frost in the Morning, and Water in the Stream Bed

Sometimes it's easier for me to get up in the early morning during the cold months, and one of the good reasons for that is the fun I have watching the sun come up earlier and the frost come less often and less severe.
