Color

May's wrapping up, all too soon, and without the amount of travel, seeing places, and checking in with people I'd love to see.
Another new normal for me, unfortunately.
At least there's lots of color around, thanks to what water we have and my lovely kids...

Again- at the Cabin!

Fires everywhere these days, even though official fire season is a ways away.
Heat and lack of water.
It's the new, um, normal.

Time at the cabin and going over mountain passes is never wasted.

He's Always Outside!

He's not only a highly dynamic young man who sees the world around him in a unique and irresistibly exciting manner, but he has some good brothers and sisters who keep him well-stocked in hardware and ideas to stay engaged with the gargantuan amounts of resources and fun around him.

Snowbird Conference 2018

I decided rather tardily that I needed to go to this years 'Promising Youth' conference up at Snowbird, so props and thanks goes to the eminent artist and gentleman Abe Kimball for letting me use his room as a base of operations and much more.
One of the best parts of this year's time spent was talking with him and watching him work through a piece of art in progress.
