At this time of year I occasionally long for frost, snow and ice, not because I like winter (it is my least favorite season)but because snow would mean that the canning, freezing, drying, and preserving of the seemingly endless harvest would be over. I know I should be grateful of the bounty of the harvest but sometimes my gratitude gets stuck in the bottom of the dirty jam pan.I know that I'll miss those vine ripe tomatoes though.....Teresa
Could you send a little of that stuff my way. I forgot about ice, which is only to be found in the freezer around here. That is if you remember to fill the ice trays.
