We are spending more time on the mountain than we've been able to all summer. One thing we look forward to in Autumn is the freezing of the garden, which makes it so we can't do anything else to keep the poor thing limping along any longer.
Lots to do in the kitchen and on the porch, but no more weeding, watering, and 'coon trapping on anything that resembles a schedule!
Hence, the blessed hikes and walkies.
