Over the years, I've blathered, pontificated, and inanely commentated on the importance and my appreciation of the Thanksgiving holiday- It's very often pivotal in the movement of seasons at this location in the northern hemisphere, it's essential to the flow of the fall-to-winter holiday season, it's founded in gratitude, slowing down, gathering, community, and family, and it's just plain old good.
